Fixing the data gap that keeps women out of clinical trials. TrialMe addresses the historical underrepresentation of women in clinical research by developing tools and methodologies to ensure gender-balanced trial participation.[1]
Significance
Women are historically underrepresented in clinical trials, leading to medications and treatments optimized primarily for male biology. TrialMe's work could improve treatment outcomes for half the population.
